The Mighty Chewbacca in the Forest of Fear is a Cute, Enjoyable Read

Having realized recently that I have Star Wars books on my bookshelves that I hadn’t yet read, I picked up The Mighty Chewbacca in the Forest of Fear today and read it. I had initially handed it off to one of my daughters when I received in nearly two years ago, thinking it was a silly little kids book.
However, it turned out to be a felicitously cute, fun, and enjoyable book. Taking place before the events in Rogue One, the story focusses on Chewbacca, K-2SO, and a young lady in their search for a book they need to track down.
Without going into details, I will say that this book is enjoyable, as it doesn’t get too silly, yet keeps things fairly playful and light along the way. As an adult, one can read through this book within a couple of hours, while kids can read through this with a decent pace.
In addition to the characters I mentioned earlier, Han Solo, Cassian Andor, and Corellian hounds are also involved in this book, providing some nice connections with both Rogue One and Solo.
It’s a cute, enjoyable, and breezy read!
