With the television premiere of “Star Wars Rebels” in exactly one month from today on June 20th, it is tempting for folks to sit down and watch it. However, in talking with some people (okay, perhaps not as into Star Wars as some other people out there), I have realized that they are interested in watching “Star Wars Rebels” and are curious about watching the first season. This is pretty enticing, especially since the first season is only one 44-minute movie followed by thirteen 22-minute episodes.
However, if one has not yet seen “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”, you still have time to watch it and the first season of “Star Wars Rebels” before the television premiere of season two of “Star Wars Rebels” comes out. Fortunately, all of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” is on Netflix, so it’s easily bingeable.
I will, however, say this: while one need not watch “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” as a prerequisite to watching “Star Wars Rebels”, one’s watching of it (and especially moving into the second season) will be greatly enhanced.
